The auto-locking, semi-automatic features allows the operator secure the wheelchair and tension the webbing using a convenient tensioning knob. This eliminates the labor-intensive process of manual over-center or ratchet securement straps.
The QRT Standard incorporates a J Hook for attaching the wheelchair securement strap to a solid frame member on the wheelchair. The J Hook requires only a quarter turn and reduces twisting of the webbing when securing the strap. A Foot Release Lever allows the operator to release the webbing tension and disengage the straps without bending down the vehicle floor.
The Q’Straint QRT Standard universal design can safely accommodate most wheelchair designs and scooters while the low profile design allows most wheelchairs to maneuver over the retractor without interference.
